Default TRANSGO -features!!!!!

Does anyone know what is meant by (computer strategy change before kit installation 97 - 2000 ) this is listed on the back of the box under KIT FEATURES . What exactally do they mean by this? these instructions are very lame, and i cant find much with the search .THANKS

change the trans characteristics before putting in kit. i.e. change the line pressure. but i wouldnt do it. i would just install it and go.

NO, that is not correct. Leave the OE line pressures alone.

Comp Strat Change is talking about Torque Managment. I highly recommend deleting it all when installing a TransGo, I removed all mine a while ago with no side effects to date. TqMgt pulls timing, dumps line pressure, and basically makes you slower in order to protect the driveline from failure. It's GM's bandaid fix to a weak driveline...

i have already had the TM deleted a year ago when i had my cam installed.

Then you're fine to install it, the more power you make the more apparent TqMgt becomes.

On the trans go kits what are the other parts. I was looking at pics of b&m and trans go kits, and the pic of the trans go kit has A LOT more little parts than the b&m. What are these extra little parts. And how easy is it to install a trans go kit with the th 350 in the car.
