Vinyl wrapping project thread
Started wrapping some door paneling to hide the trans am door cracks...have everything off for a speaker install so I figured I'd do some other pieces while I was at it.
Managed to get one piece done today, not that difficult though every little wrinkle in the vinyl was kind of bugging me..couldn't find a way to do it without a little bit of wrinkle and didn't want to use interior paint.
Wash the abs plastic with soap and water then dry.
Go to your fabric store, buy a like 4 yards or so of decent quality vinyl and some 3M 77 spray adhesive (or the spray adhesive of your choice)
Cut out an appropriate size of vinyl, spray it with the 3M 77 spray adhesive and take a blow dryer to it and shape it to the plastic.
Not the best picture but some better ones are on the way tomorrow along with hopefully a COMPLETED door panel!
