Ok guys i have been reading very different things about using the stock fuel pump or using a walbro 255 when putting a 5.3 in an s-10 truck.
I have a 96 s-10 p/u and i also have a 99 5.3 engine that i am wanting to install. I was told the s10 tank has a cup style fuel pump. I have also read that i can use the stock 4.3 fuel pump? I plan on installing a small cam, and maybe headers.
If i do run this or the 255 how do i go about using a regulator and filter? or can i use all the stock 4.3 stuff?

If i do use the stock 4.3 do i need a regulator?

what about the walbro?

I guess any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!1

Stock pump in the s10 is not enough low volume and only runs 43psi. The LS motor needs more than that Swap in a Walbro and you will need a regulator to do 58psi. Line kit to connect your tank to the rails. (http://www.nastyperformance.com/shop/nasty-performance-universal-lsx-conversion-fuel-line-kit/)
