Default Photos of Left Side of LT1 Engine and Wire Harness

On my 93 there are some wires hanging down from the left side of the engine compartment down by where the Oil Filter is. I dont have a working camera so I cant take the photos myself but one of the wires has a large rubber boot on it that looks like it might go to the sensor above the oil filter but all there is is a white nub on it with no connector at the end and I cant tell where it really came from unless something else broke off of it.

Start with the basics. Follow the wire to the other end. Then start checking all the various connectors on your engine to make sure they're all hooked up. Then go check your gauges and such to make sure everything is working.

The one with the rubber boot is the oil pressure sending plug, the sensor plastic probably broke off the sending unit, its very common.

Oil level sensor. Buy a new sensor and reconnect.

That is what my thought was. It just seems like something is missing from the plug.

It's the oil pressure sender for sure! Started the car up and the guts of the sender came out. I went to autozone and they gave me the wrong sending unit!
