01 LS1/t56 into 95 chevy 1500?
i recently came across a great deal on a wrecked 01 Z28 and was wondering what are the main things to consider if i was to try to swap the LS1 and t56 into a 95 chevy that currently has a non running 350 and 5 speed in it. I know bigger fuel pump is required.

The biggest things are motor mounts, exhaust and accessories. Depending on what u use for motor mounts the motor can move. Transdapt sells ones that put the back of the motor in stock 350 location. If you do that then most everything else should fit. A lot of the truck parts should work well if what u have doesn't. Also budget for parts comes into it, like if u can afford the swap headers and stuff like that

Truck Headers
Schoenfeld makes a nice header for your swap. They're full-length 1 3/4" LTs with a 3" collector and they work with TransDapt's #4572 plates.
Also, if you use the 4.8L truck or CTS-V pilot bearing and a 4.8L clutch/flywheel assembly, your LS1 will bolt right up to the NV3500 5-speed.
