Appearance & Detailing - Upgrading Dash

I have a 1999 Firebird Trans Am with the factory gray dash and am currently upgrading all of my interior plastics to ebony (black). I believe the ebony dash came standard in all 2000-2002 cars?

Is it possible to make the switch because I know the gray dashes are a little different from the black ones (as far as the instrument cluster, routing the headlights switch, etc.)?

Only difference is the color. Everything bolts in reverse of how you removed it.
