Anyone ever seen or know of someone to have done this swap? I know it's a feasible fit, however I'm mostly concerned with the apparent high flow-rate of the LSA pump with respect to the LS6 and LS3 pumps, ported or otherwise. Though I cannot find exact data anywhere, I saw one source say the LSA pump goes about 33 gpm whereas the LS6 pumps are only around 12gpm? That just doesn't seem correct to me considering both pumps are about the same with the spring being different and IDK about geroter thickness.

FWIW, my application is a high-revving NA LS2 build for road-race.

For road race, I wouldn't use a high volume pump. You will run the pan dry. I'd use a melling 295 high pressure standard volume or ls6 equivalent.

Not exactly on point, but I'm running an LS9 pump in a dry sump LS7...

That's one thing I'm worried about, though I do have a baffled 9qt pan, I was thinking if it still flows that much, I'm obviously paranoid about running dry and/or drowning the top end in oil.

Ya not exactly on point, but thanks.
