Generation III Internal Engine - just got my lq4 have u seen this

Hey All finally got my lq4. Pulled oil pan And on the bottom of each Rod are number written with a orange marker. Im starting this thred from my phone And cant figure out how To upload pics. But All rods have different numbers some have 3 digits some have more.

Just want To know if anyone else has seen this

prolly been rebuilt before

Must have been, I've seen a lot of stock bottom ends and never come across any hand writing in any of them.

when i first started reading this thread i was beginning to think he was going to say he saw where god signed his shortblock...

prob been rebuilt. as mentioned in the post above; i haven't seen any stock shorts with handwriting on them.
