C6 Z06 with N2O Vs C6 Calloway
No contest at all. At this altitude (6,000 feet) I'm making 560 rwhp using a 100 shot, he's making about 420-430 rwhp with a TVS 2300 blower. From 60 mph to 120 or so I opened bus lengths. This gave him a little perspective on his "fast" car.
I should have saved the nitrous, motor only I'm at 460 rwhp.

So you made 560rwhp using a 100shot and he's only making 420-430rwhp with a tvs 2300 blower. Somthing isn't right here!!
Ok I just realized you have the Z06.. but he's got to be making more than 420-430rwhp with a blower. Was it a LS2 or a LS3 C6?

Calloway says 606 brake horsepower, that's at sea level. At this altitude he's down 20% at the crank, giving 485 crank. Then, figure 12% drivetrain loss gives him 427 actual rwhp.
My Z is heavily modified, 12:1 heads, .658" lift cam, etc. etc. Add a 100 shot and it makes 560 rwhp at this altitude.

Whilst Im not familiar with tuning the LSx based platform, I DO know that most OEM boosted applications have an external barometer with which to refrence boost levels from, which will typically account for barometer/altitude changes...
I take it calloway did not install or use such a barometer and that it was tuned at sea level? If so, he is likely going retarded rich. Once he gets retuned for altitude if the car doesnt have a barometer refrence, it wont be such a horrible blow out. If there is a barometric sensor on the car, something is FUBAR'ed.
REGARDLESS, good kill!!
