General LSX Automobile Discussion - Can ls1 breath through this air cleaner??

I have a stock 5.3 truck motor that I've put a GMPP single plane intake and I'm going to run an Accufab 4150. I'm putting this in a '37 Chevy and I'm dressing the engine up to look similar to an old small block chevy.

Can a stock motor like this breath properly through this type air cleaner? Would a dual snorkel be necessary, or would a single work?

The other option I'm considering, and actually like better, is this stock '57 Chevrolet 4 barrel breather. It only has one snorkel, which would point toward the front of the car and take in air close to where the original breather would on an ls1.

Considering what the stock LS intake configuration looks like, I'd say it should work just fine.

Yes either would be fine w/ a good free flowing air filter !!!
