LS1 is alive
Hey guys,
I work for a vendor so i belong to a lot of forums, but I am glad to join this one today because soon I will be tearing up the streets in my ls1. It is a firebird formula I found in a field at a old man's house. So I traded a old Ford Ranger with over 250 thousand miles for it. I went through the motor and changed all the bearings, seals, and some new internals. I feel like it was well worth the trade. Hearing it start up for the first time last night was very rewarding. It won't be the fastest LS on the road by any means but I'm sure it will do just fine for what I want it to do.

My girlfriend told me I would be upset about not taking pics of the build. Damn I hate when she is right, but I will have some pics soon. Its not exactly a looker. It could use a nice paint job cause whoever painted it before did a terrible job. I really like the white on black look by the way. That black stripe really makes the car stand out.
