Default ? about valave spring check/change interval

from what I can tell from searching, the general rule is dual springs for anything over .6 lift and springs should be checked every 10-15K miles on a "bigger" cam.

What is the the biggest cam you can run without having to check springs?

Would a cam with more duration but lower lift be better for not having to worry about springs as much?

Do springs wear as fast if the car is a DD that isnt constantly seeing high RPMs or is it just the miles that wear springs regardless or RPM and driving style?

Thanks for any input

Springs fatigue as a function of being compressed...the more distance they are compressed, and the more times (cycles) they are compressed, the more they fatigue.
