Generation IV Internal Engine - lq4 6.0L w/ls2 valley?

I have a valley cover off a friends GTO part 12570471. We put a Supercharger on his car so he did not need the cover. My plan was to use it on my 6.0L build. My question is, If I do not have DOD or AFM on my 6.0L block will I still need to get the o-ring seal/gaskets or can I just leave that be and get the outer seal only. Or do I need a completely different valley cover.

I dont want to buy the o ring seals if they are not needed.

I don't believe an LS2 valley cover will fit a 3rd gen 6.0 block if I understand you right with what you're proposing. When I swapped my LS2 for LQ4 I got an LS6 valley cover and 3rd gen cam sensor to plug the hole (used the LS2 front cover and cam sensor). The cover had the gaskets in place to seal over the knock sensor bosses in the 3rd gen block's lifter valley.
