I have a 2002 ws6 and the rear end was humming horribly. It is an LSD rear end and I purchased a 2.73 Posi rear end from a 99 Z28.

Would this be compatible?

Also, it is for no traction control and my car has traction control. Would I be able to just opt out of having traction control and hook this up or do i have to have one that is made for TC?

Not sure on the gear swap, but your ABS/TCS is controlled by a sensor in each backing plate and reluctor rings on your axles.. So, providing that gear set will fit your housing, you should be set..

from the way the original post is structured/worded,a complete 2.73 3 channel ABS rearend from a 99 Z28 is intended to replace a complete 02 ws6 4 channel ABS & TC rearend.
it was never stated what the ratio of the rearend to be replaced is ?
the axles and backing plates from the 02 rear have to be used in/on the 99 rear to maintain ABS & TC.
