Default How to tune 94 PCM on 95 car/cable

I have a 95, with the OBD2 style cable and I have a friend who wants a base tune on his 94, could I just plug in his PCM into my car, upload the tune from there, then put it back in his car?

Yes unless you wire up an OBDII connector in his car or buy an OBDI cable that is your only option

Someone makes bench top harnesses to program PCMs. It's either Solomon at lt1pcmtuning.com, madz28 or pcmsforless.com.

Just gotta remove the PCM which is a piece of cake.

You will probably find what you are looking for in here.

There is nothing to jumper. '94 & '95 LT1 are the same PCM. You can plug the '94 box in the '95 car, flash it then put it back in the '94 car. Nothing else to it. Forget the '95 car having the OBD2 style ALDL, it means nothing.
