Default Fuel pressure gauge sending unit leaking?

It seems to be leaking around the o-ring fitting thats on the sending unit? As you can see in these pics I marked it with an arrow. It was leaking around there and I replaced one side with that white plastic one. Still leaking.
Now do I have to get a new FP gauge sending unit? Or is there an actual washer that you can replace and tighten that nut back down? Thanks in advance.

If fuel is at the wiring, the sender is likely bad. There should be a diaphram in there to isolate the fuel from the electronics.

Thats exactly where its coming from! Ok so that diaphragm probably went bad. So do I get a new sending unit or just that ring? Will the auto meter #2242 sending unit be a replacement?

Oh, and since I just swapped the original one for that white plastic one (on the right side connector), the fuel pressure gauge will be peg'd on 100 PSI??

I appreciate the help!

Buy the sender that matches the gauge... no exceptions, no substitutions.
I would recommend a new Autometer gauge if you have a different brand.

Whatever you do, disconnect the one you have before you have a fire to deal with.

I have an autometer phantom fuel pressure guage. So that part number #2242 sending unit should work? It's says it's a electrical sending unit up to 100psi but says for oil?
