Hey guys, not really sure if this section would be "correct" but im looking for opinions.

Im looking at a all stock except slp LM exhaust 99 z28 6 speed priced at 4,995. Clean title supposedly (car fax will be soon) at 110k miles. I always told myself id buy one with 85k miles at most... But for 4995 thats good. They dont speak very highly of the car so I think its one of those dealerships that dont know what they got.

Everything on it looks not bad at all and suprisingly paint is very smooth for being out here in the desert. Both mirrors look like they were spray painted though (paint is silver and mirrors are a dull rough silver but its color matched very well)

What do you think?

Have a mechanic check it, but otherwise it sounds fair. 110k isn't bad at all. Mine has 190k. Mirrors are easy to find in a salvage yard.

Being in the military we pretty much HAVE to have ten billion of our higher ups look at it and give you a list of why its shitty and shouldnt do anything :bang: I know of plenty of people who have higher than 110k miles but its just a personal preference of miles I dont like. But im pretty sure I can manage.

A good thing is one of my buddies is very good at spotting things I cant lol im making an appointment to go check this out

99 would have had black mirrors so it sounds like someone wanted body color mirrors. if it checks out then go for it.

Exactly what I was thinking. Like said earlier itd probly be easy to find black ones at a junk yard.

Thanks guys

sounds like you got lucky, especially if the car dealer doesn't quite understand what he is selling. you could sell me that blue rcsb for $4995, talk them down to $4400 on the car and have enough money for long tubes and tune!

good luck on the car!

I bought my T/A with 127K on the clock. Payed more than that too.

Thing is, I have about 15k to spend and more coming in. So I have an option of finding a good one more kinda the mileage I want more options I want etc (plan to sell truck anyway)

Yea I know which makes it sound even more shady....

Why all this worry about it being shady? Maybe they paid a lot less and they just want to turn it around quick. I paid pennies for mine because the guy I bought it from didn't know anything about it and just wanted it out of his driveway. I still say go for it!

Sorry guys been real busy. I worry about it being shady because the place that's selling it. Almost all reviews for this place are bad saying thier liars and don't follow up with anything.

I want a stock - slightly bolt on one so I know exactly what's in it and to know I did it.

Miles on my truck is about 125k :(
