I am wondering what the ciol packs look like from year to year and app to app. I want to put some coil covers in 4.8 with LS1 intake but the Vette Ls1 covers won't fit over the coils as they are bigger on the truck.

I was hoping everyone would post a pic of their coils and what year and application they are from.

02 Avalanche 5.3 coils match the ones you have.

Newer trucks get the rounded coils with the little heat sinks on them. I want to say 07+, but don't quote me on that.

I think the heat sink ones come on G8s. I haven't seen any heat sink coils on truck, we get a few of them through the dealership and I would swap them out with my extra 03 set.

I think MSD still has a coil ID for the LS engines on their website. I think it is www.MSDignition.com .
