Looks nice but still no V8 even though the police version will have it.

And then...the police motors....3.6L V6 301HP and 6.0L V8 355HP. How the Fu(k do those numbers add up? Who in Chevorlet is making these decisions? Just put in a 5.3L, you can get 355 out of that easy. They already have the Cruze, Impala, and Malibu that are all FWD models. Get rid of one of those.

They're saturating their own brand with 'performance' sedans. If you've ever read "On a Clear Day You Can See GM" by John DeLorean, you would understand why GM corporates have their heads so far up their butts.....and nothings changed.

That link is of the new (FWD only) Impala that replaces the current Impala.
The new Caprice police cars (and the upcoming Chevrolet SS) are an entirely different (RWD only, Holden based) vehicle/platform.

I think this new Impala looks (and will be) awesome.

That's the new Impala, not related in any way to the Caprice.

Thats what I get for posting at 1:30 in the morning. But I still don't see the Caprice for sale on their website.

And the ball is still dropped because the Impala SHOULD be a V8 RWD. Guess I'll take a look at the new SS
