Default 98 LS1 ASA cam install help

Ok, I have setting on the bench the ASA cam, new lifters, and the blue springs that were sold with the kit from PacePerformance. I bought a new oil pump, timing chain, head gaskets, cam change gaskets, and new head bolts. Pulling the engine out of my 70 Chevelle this weekend to start. My first question is: Which push rods are people using? I have read that a 7.425" pushrod is the way to go? My second question is: Will I have to have pistons fly cut? Most posts I have read say no on the pistons, however, I have read that some do. The heads are stock, and havent been machined what so ever. Also, the intake is the Edelbrock VrJr, with QFT 750 slayer carb, MSD 6010, and Edelbrock A body headers. Thanks for any input.

You won't have to notch the pistons. For pushrods, you need to measure what works and then order them.
