Transmission swap

I did a search first and i couldn't find any threads. Is it possible to use another transmission in place of the 4t65hd. The trans in my mcss is going out and i want to consider all options.

There's quite a bit of discussion of different transmissions that could be used on gmls4.com

That would be the place to look if any.
