Default WS6 power steering cooler?

I have one & was going to use it, wondering how much benefit there is to it. And where does it mount, looks like it mounts in the hose from the engine to the radiator. So it is already hot from the engine. Seems more beneficial to mount on the cooler water from the radiator to the engine. But I dont have any room in the inlet hose.

Most people get rid of them. They're prone to leaking and then you have a big mess of power steering fluid and radiator fluid. If you really want to run a power steering cooler I'd do an independent one and mount it somewhere.

I use one, I had an issue with steering locking up The LS1 pump has I few hundred lbs more of pressure over most of the 60's and 70's system. It create a lot of heat and by putting it on, my problem's were resolved. 1600-1800 of psi does create a lot of heat.

I have had no issue with the one I have. You can go aftermarket if you prefer.
