I am in the process of buying parts for my 99 TA. Ive got TSP headers, fast 92/92 and am undecided on a H/C combo. I am hoping to get close to 450rwhp. When it comes to injectors is it safer to go bigger with them? There are a few for sale on here and wanted to see what people think I should use. I was thinking going with some 42lb

I think 36lbs are more suitable for 450~ish rwhp but 42's may work just a bit harder to tune in driveability. Built an 02 Z06 all motor that put 455rwhp down on MTI racings dyno with 93 octane. Stock LS6 block, patriot stage 2 heads, torquer V.3 cam, obx headers, Borla SP2 catback, B&M shifter, Fast 102 w/90mm TB, ls3 fuel rail and MTI ignition wires.

get 60's or 80's that way you dont have to buy more later on down the road.

I totally disagree with that. Too big of an injector will be impossible to tune for good driveability. Had Deutchwerks 60lbs in that Z06 and the driveability was crap. Put those FAST 36lb and they were able to tune it very good. Was very driveable with the Torquer V.3 monster.

if you decide to get a BIG injector such as a 60# then I suggest you buy one that the vendor provides data.

otherwise, grab some 36# or 42# and you will be fine. you can lower your offset table by nearly half likely, and lower all of your short pulse and etc by nearly half
