Learn how to properly wash your car. Two bucket method, good products(wash mitt/soap), good technique, proper drying. Foam gun won't hurt either.

I usually use a low power pressure washer to rinse off and then hand wash with a mitt and dish soap. Dry with a microfiber and wax with my mothers powerball. Will this Hurt anything ?

Yes, yes it will. You should be using at least 2 buckets with grit guards (I use 3) and using 2 mitts, one strictly for the top and one for the bottom. You will want a quality mitt also. Check out autogeek.net or adamspolishes.com. Also, dish soap is not a good product to use to wash on a regular basis. It is fine if you want to strip all of the protection you have, but you won't want to use it every time you wash the car or you will have to wax it every time you wash the car also.

Here is a good link to watch to see how to properly care for a car.
