General Maintenance & Repairs - What's this hose??

I found this laying by my drivers headlight and have no clue where it goes. I did a ls6 mani swap no too long ago. My car idles fine with a slight rpm drop ONLY idling in drive.

Any idea where this goes?

i believe its the hose that runs from the back of the intake to the solenoid for the a.i.r system

Ok makes sense I did pull the air off during the swap. No problem leaving it off?

as long as the other end is capped off.

I didn't cap it off since I didn't know where it came from lol.
Cons of that? Small vacuum leak?
