Default power steering problems

hey guys this will sound dumb but i just got done replacing the 4th power steering pump in a row on my car they were all rebuilt units and they were all leaking from the weep hole in the rear. Is ther something i am doing wrong? i just put my stock one back in for now it makes noise but at least doesnt leak.

mine went bad cause of the power steering fluid cooler...it kept leaking all the fluid into my cooling system and vice versa...hard saying why its going bad maby just a bad pump...if there fairly new id take it back for a new one

what your doing wrong is buying 4 rebuilt units in a row. buy a new gm unit and also check your power steering cooler make sure u are not having the same problem as Josh1983

Remove the cross coolant system and run something respectable then rebuild your pump one last time. Should last after that.
