The connecting rods are forged powdered metal and the crankshafts are cast nodular iron and feature undercut and rolled fillets ,,,,,,,,both are stronger than cast but not as strong as forged . The stock rods pre 2005 with ARP bolts are good to at least 600 whp and 7000+ rpm's if balanced and the crankshafts are good to roughly 750-800 whp and the same rpm's if balanced .
