if you mean power band wise, i have heard they are made for a 4.00 bore and bigger, but i have seen people run them in their LS1/6s i know that if you use them in your small bore 3.9 you will loose some low end power but scream at the top,
but look at it this way when ever you get ready for a new build, you get a cheap LQ9 block, have it bored to 4.070 and stroked to 4.00, and you get a 416 Ci motor, those heads and intake you use on you LS1/6 will fit this new block,
and will make tons more power both ways hp/tq.
