Thoughts on HUGHES?
ok, I have heard the arguments on TCI, VIG, and Yank. Anybody heard anything good/bad about Hughes Torque converters? Local Speed shop in SA swears by them and they are about the same price range as the TCI....

I can say this, They have just rebuilt my soon to be picked up 4L80-E and it has a Hughes converter on it. I will let you know when I pick it up how it feels. I have heard nothing but good things about them.

My friend put a small one (2800-3000) in his car and it seemed to perform really well. He got a good price and must have put around 15,000-20,000 miles on it so far with no problems to speak of.
