i just wanted to ask what you all thought. i have a 98 z28, the mods are lid, free mods, custom duals. my runs at the track suck. i made 6 runs so far and ran a 13.9 at 106, 2.5 60 ft. traction is the prob. i dynoed 315hp and 335tq, that was before duals and free mods, with 93000 miles on my car. what do you all estimate my 1/4 times to be with a 1.8 60'. suspension is going to be moded soon, lca, etc and probably a set of nittos out back.

You should be in the low 13s. What state are you in? Track does make a big difference. One track here in Ga is 3 tenths quicker than the other. I ran my 98z bone stock it ran a 13.2 @ 108 IIRC the 60' was 2.1. All this was on stock tires and I can't remember if I took out the spare and jack. Weight was 3295 with 1/4 tank of gas. My car is a stripper except for the T-tops. This was my first time racing it and first time in a M6 at the track so it could have went faster if I knew what I was doing. This was in Jan of 98 with about 1000 miles on it. They are suppose to get stronger with miles on them. How long have you has your 98. Mine has been awesome no problems yet. I know they are coming. I am waiting on the water pump to go. Let us know how you do when you go back to the track.

i live in KY. im racing full weight. i know i should be running a lot better than that. i have had no probs with the car and had about 2 years now. my windows dont work but thats an easy fix just cant find the time. i have test drove a 00 z28 and a 00 trans am that was stock and mine felt almost twice as strong. oh well i'll just have to get my suspension upraded and see what happens. everyone that has seen me run said they can tell its traction destroying my times. thanks for your reply.

You have low 13's easy with even a 2.0 60'.....get some tires and a little suspension work and try to squeez 12's and a 1.8 60' out of her!!!!! What is your mph?? That can say alot about what the car has in it
