Gears & Axles - Factory 3.42s

Might any of you know how many a4 cars come the factory with 3.42s? So far im the only person i know whos car came with them stock. Its a 98 z28.

I am not sure on the 98, but 99 -02 I beleave all Z28 (and/or SS ) came OE stock came A4 as 3.23 and SRD as 3.42 and no exceptions ( no A4 with 3.42)
I could stand to be corrected but.....

a4 was either 3.23 or 2.73

m6 was 3.42

so far I've only ever heard of the 93's being oddballs with the gearing, did you buy your car brand new? did you count rotations or do the gears have the number stamped on them? and what RPO code is on your door?

Yeah yall are right. My rpo code is gu5 so it did come with 3.23s. I guess someone swapped out rears before i had it cause i turned the driveshaft and counted, as well as the gear/mph calculator and both conclude in me having 3.42s.
