Default 94 to 96 trans am swap
my dad gave me two cars to build one.. 96 trans am body was perfect but motor and trans not in it.. 94 trans am had a knocking motor so took motor and trans out of it got another motor started put it in.. found they was a few extra plugs.. does anyone know the diffance? after putting the motor in it wont start.. any ideas?

The 94 is OBD-I, and the 96 is OBD-II

motor was for a 96 had a knock sensor.

they was extra plug by the starter was square with 4 wires? any idea

Post cat O2's. You'll find another one of those connectors back near the tranny.
