as of recently i have noticed a noise coming from the passenger side head, towards the back of the head. I am not sure if its an exhaust leak or ticking lifter. i am stumped because i dont hear it until round 2000 rpm and kinda fades away the higher the rpms. this is the 5.3 motor and i am aware of the notorious lifter tick however i dont think this is part of it. there are no upgrades what so ever and i change oil every 2800 miles to be exact as i do alot of short trips. it is filled with castrol gtx 10w-30. also i have tried Marvel mystery oil And lucas oil stabilizer. no luck yet any help would be appreciated!

Not really an answer but lucas oil stabilizer is garbage. All it is is a very thick oil, but without the additives of most motor oils, which causes it to foam up when it gets hot.
