Eastern Members - i really wish we had e-85 stations

if we had another e-85 station or two in Delaware id run it...

does any1 kno of any e-85 stations in Delaware other than whats listed on the webz?

that's a hike from where I live... and a decent distance from where I live...

only way I see it feasible is to buy a 100 gallons at a time... lol then it defeats my purpose of running it in a dd lol

its great stuff but the northeast corner of the country has been real slow to embrace it , I dabbled with it on another platform and had to drive 2 states away to Massachusetts to get it - they are lucky they have 4 stations none in Maine or NH so 4 hours round trip including time to fill cans.

If you have a truck my thought if I ever get serious with it was to get one of those tanks you see contractors use for diesel mounted where you typically see tool boxes by the back of the cab , could work for you...

you can order it by the 55 gallon drum but shipping will croak you allthough you may be nearer to a supplier than I am , check Rockett brand fuels website and see who your closest dealer is and remember you get most of the benefits by 50/50 blend if you want to mix your own , maybe buy drum e98 and make your own e49 which doesnt require nearly the fuel delivery upgrades of e85.

e85 done right can make more power than 116 octane c16 race fuel at $3 a gallon vs $11+

A friend of mine mixes to e25 in a 3800SC powered rock crawler and it outruns his buddys crawler same chassis and gearing that has a stock lq9 6 liter - we were able to pulley down as if it had a bunch of supporting mods and add a ton of timing to boot

The BP in Bear on Pulaski Highway aka Rt. 40 has a E-85 pump. I pass that place all the time. Not sure if they have any but I can check tomorrow on my way home from work.

Considering how badly corn crops are doing, willing to wager your not going to see $3 a gallon much longer. May take a while but it will be interesting to see.
