Excessive RF noise and Dyno/EFI Live Issues Was dynoing a car yesterday and having issues with the dyno and RPM logging. At the same time, I was having issues with the laptop and logging with EFI live. According to a distinguished member of the dyno community, a bad coil on the LS1 can emit so much RF noise that it will preclude the Dynojet and/or a laptop computer from working properly.
WOW! Never knew that one. It was really weird. I would start logging with EFI live and about 3500-4000 rpm there woul be a gap in the log until after the pedal was lifted and the car went into deceleration, then the log would contuinue. Weird stuff.
