Best engine builder for Forged 6.2 build
I have a 2010 6.2 with only 9k miles that I was going to put into my truck stock. But now I would like to at least go ahead and put in some forged rods and pistons for boost. I would also like the crank to have a 24 tooth wheel on it. Where is the best place to send this motor? A lot of builders now days just want 8k+ builds but not every one can afford that. Can anyone recommend a builder that has good customer service and will take a little job like this. Thanks

Don't buy a motor from LME Brian is a rat sold me a custom build motor for an 06 gto with the wrong reluctor wheel and blamed me for it, instead he use across state line safety to screw me across. Lesson learned, I say buy a motor from builder near you so if you have a problem he can take care of it for you.

This is the most ridiculous post I have seen. Has no merit what so ever. I shouldn't even post to such BS but I feel I have to. This was an issue from years back.
To set the record straight: The customer called and placed an order for the engine and specifically requested the 58X reluctor. As part of the build he requested to be able to stop in the shop to look at all his parts before they went in the engine. I thought that was cool so we made it happen. So the customer FLYS in from Miami to Houston and looks at all his parts. Including reluctor wheel. We have a good meeting and he is good with the machine work and parts. A while later I get a call saying that I screwed him and he wants a refund. I offered to switch out the reluctor free of charge if he sent back the engine. He did not want to do this. There was not much else I could do to help him. So he files a charge back on the credit card. I explain to the credit card company what happened and they sided with who they felt was in the right. That happened to be LME.
So for the guy to be calling me a rat is completely unnecessary and could not be further from the truth. My integrity is above reproach. I do everything I can to make customers happy and succeed an overwhelming majority of the time. Not only with delivering great customer service but with a killer engine that is durable and powerful. Our LSX MPH, ET & HP records speak for them selves. This is all I will comment on this issue. I have no time to bicker back and forth, if that is what the customer wants from his postings.
Thanks for reading...
Sincerely,
Bryan Neelen

I am thinking about selling this 6.2 since all that I will basically be using is the block. I feel I can sell it and just buy a 370 short block. Like 1slowz71 said, I would hate tearing into a very low mile engine just for the block. I will be calling around to all that have posted in here or been recommend and see what your 370's cost. Thanks for the help!!
OH BTW I have a 6.2 for sale lol
