Default drag slicks for manual pig

ok guys i screwed this up once looking to get it right this time.

car is a 91 camaro with t56 and 408 lsx stroker. weighs 3610 with me in it.
i leave off an msd 2 step between 5-5500 rpms. car has about 360 rwtq from 2200 rpms and over 400 from about 2700-6000 rpms. i run a stage 3 clutch as well so it hits real hard.

i bought 275/60/15 et street radials. they will hook with 5-5500 clutch dumps with excellent track prep. but iff the track gets a bit off they just spin real hard. it is actually breaking down the sidewall in the tire. im sure i could back the launch off to 3500-4000 maybe and get them to bog pretty consistently but not really interested in doing that. it will vary from a 1.8 60 to a 2.4 depending if the launch hooks or spins. not to good for bracket racing.

mickey thompson is recommending either a 26/10/15 et drag stiff wall or a 28/10.5/15 stiff wall et drag. either tire will be mounted on my 15x8 race star wheels to fit the wheel well. they are also saying i need tubes for sure. most of the classes i run are slicks classes so im thinking of giving up on the dot tire thing. maybe revisit it next year.

the car will soon be getting new heads intake 2 inch long tube headers with cutouts and i may turn on my nitrous soon with maybe a 100 hit or so.

any advice is really appriciated. im sure someone has figured out a solid setup

thanks
mike
