Street Racing & Kill Stories - First kill tonight. Formula vs 5.0

Got my first kill tonight. It was a friendly short race vs my buddies 91 5.0. He's got a couple bolt ons but not much. I got nothing but a lid. We honked from around 40ish and he's got a 5 speed so he jumped ahead almost a car at first then after a second or two I zipped past him pretty easily. By 90 I was two cars ahead and still pulling and thats when I let off. Felt good haha. :burn:

Whats he got done to the 5.0? If its the foxbody ones I'm thinking of, you should've taken him easily if he was stock.

I did take him easily he just got a little jump when we first punched it since I have an auto. I zipped by him no problem after that. I don't know exactly what he has done to it but I know its minor stuff.

It wasn't really planned we were just driving around together and at one point the road opened up in front of us so we just ran it.

When will people realize its not that easy to run from a dig on the street, and 9x/10 unless the race is "setup", its more convenient to go from a roll.

This was 2 stockish cars goin from a 40 roll. Not some 800hp monster, it don't take a drag set-up to get a run it. Just Say no to biscuit racing.

It's called a stoplight... You know those black poles with the little red lights hanging from them. Well, you line up next to each other, and when the lights change color to green, you go. It's almost like *GASP* a drag strip.

Digs are possible, but not every time. The best way to do it that way is to setup the race like I said before, on some way out road some where. Why I am explaining this O have not the slightest clue.

Your argument is invalid... You'll go from a roll (ILLEGAL), but you won't go from a dig? I'll let you in on a secret- you'll get the same fine and/or jail time either way, and I'd say people on the interstate probably have cell phones too... Might as well have a real race if you're going to put your ass on the line.
