TSP 438 or 441 C.I.D. LS7/LSx Rotating Assembly
This question is aimed at Texas Speed,
Im building a 97 Corvette Block and want to use this rotating assembly, which camshaft kit would be recommended for drifting low to high RPM, im trying to build this engine for throttle response, and dont want the engine to stall on me at idle.
aimed HP is around 500+ on 91 pump gas, my build is on here as well

I responded on your build thread about needing a new block or building up a 395 reusing that block.
Cam choice would depend on at least two things: 1) what block you end up using for total final displacement and 2) what heads you choose.
If you stick with the LS1 block, you're going to be limited to cathedral port heads. Not a big problem as big HP is still achievable as is strong power with good street manners.
If you go with an LS7 or LSX, you can go with LS7 heads, rectangle port LS3 heads, or some of the big cathedral port heads from AFR or TFS 245/265. These are the base blocks for most 427+ builds with the LSX being used on 454s. World, RHS, and ERL have a tall block that can make 500cid. Price becomes a huge factor on any of these blocks.
LS2 or LS3 blocks provide you more bore to work with than the LS1 and are cheaper than the LS7/LSX blocks, and you have a range of options of either the rectangle port LS3 heads, large bore cathedral port, or small bore LS7. All will make power in the 400+cid motors you can build out of those blocks.
Once you figure that out, you can figure out the camshaft as the rectangle port heads and cathedral port heads like different camshaft profiles.
