Should i be getting better mpg?
Had this camaro for about 2 months now
Its a 2000 z28 6 speed.
ls6 cam
ls6 intake
ls6 injectors
racetronix fuel pump
dynatech headers with magnaflow exhaust
the guy said it was tuned conservativly at 360rwhp
in about a week i do half highway half town driving and i get around 18mpg
i drive kinda aggressively.
One time i even got 14mpg
i used a whole tank on the highway before and got around 22 mpg.
the empty light goes on around 200 miles most of the time
I keep seeing people here say they get 26+
I tend to shift around 2300 rpm most of the time. Ive sea foamed the fuel lines changed the air filter
and all the little things like that.
do i need a new tune?

That is probably not bad.
Dependsr what "town" driving is... are you driving 35mph most of the time, or just going redlight to redlight, stopping every few hundred feet? Slow in-town driving with a lot of stops is not good for mileage in a V8 car.
The 22mpg highway is not far off in the northeast, considering the hills we have.

I got 14mpg with my first tank. It was all in town/back roads type driving and most of it was WFO. It is funny how everyone always gets better mileage and can find cars/motors for next to nothing on the internet.
