We can build you an LS3 376 or 416 good to 900HP for $4799. You can also go with the LSa short block for $6639 good to 1000HP or the LS9 good to 1100HP for $8195. These will all make great aluminum block high HP motors for your build. Give us a shout if you have any questions on the builds.

I would only do a 4.005 bore on a LS2-keep as much sleave material as possible.
I currently run a 4.005 bore on my iron block and have a set of Brian Tooley TFS 245's on it.

I thought it was a little weird when sdpc said aluminum is only good to 650...kinda wanted to ask him y my lil forged ls1 made it into the mid 7s on 16lbs and was fine? Lol and that same motor is running boost in a bjddys car now too!

There are guys with 400+cube motors on 25+ psi and can't run mid 7's
Now if you say you ran mid 7's on 16lbs in the 1/8 mile, then you have a real problem. Boost wouldn't even be needed to run that time in the 1/8

This makes no sense. You are not running mid 7's in the quarter on 16lbs with an LS1 unless you had it on a go-kart.
