Ls7teroy

Hey fellas,ive visitted this site before but im a new member looking for some help on my 89 chevy 1500 LS7 swap. It has a lt1 in it right now with a t56 six speed but im wanting to get some better consistancy with the ls7 at the track so im thinking a auto tranny this time. So im looking for some suggestions on a good auto tranny that will hold up to the LS7. Is there a good pull out canidate to build? Like maybe a 4L80E? Im all ears! Thanks!

I dont really have any advice to add for ya, but I hope you do this. I have a 94 1500 stepside & have always wanted to drop an LSx in it. Have a LS1 now but putting it in a V6 camaro. Keep us updated whenever you start the build. should be badass!
