Default Boost gauge question

Hey there guys, I have a 2000 Silverado 5.3l with a ProCharger that I just installed. I have Dakota Digital Fuel Pressure and Boost Gauges but my boost gague is not reading right. When I start the truck it reads -14 (obviosly vacuum) but when I get on the throttle it will go up to 0.0 but will not show any possitive boost. What could I have done wrong in the install? I have the sending unit Tee'd into the vacuum line from the manifold to the surge/bypass valve from the ProCharger. Help!

I would verify the by pass is closing all the way and start checking for leaks. Go back over all the clamps and fittings. Do you have alot of belt dust on the head unit ? Intercooler ?
