Aftermarket fuel rails. Questions.....
Ok, if any of you have seen my other posts, you know that my hood won't close with the truck intake. I picked up an LS1 intake for $50, but it has nothing on it but gaskets.
I was told I could use the truck fuel rails, but the center crossover part is going to stick way up and prevent the hood from closing (right?). I guess I need aftermarket rails, but what will fit my application? Can someone provide me with an ebay link? Trying to do this on a budget, by the way.
Will this work? http://www.ebay.com/itm/CXRacing-GM-...a31fca&vxp=mtr
OR, is there any reason I can't remove the center crossover between the rails and weld in something lower to the intake?
Here is my setup:
5.3 L59 Flex Fuel from a 2002 Yukon
LS1 intake
Currently using the regulator at the rails, but I have the Vette regulator and can modify the fuel system to use that instead.
Thanks all
