Default 5.3 turbo fuel pressure gauge issue

the current set-up Stock bottom end 5.3 with 76mm, comp turbo cam lunati springs and good pushrods. The car is all together and i decided to go with aeromotive stealth 340, and a boost ref. fpr from murrays speed shop. The fuel pressure gauge is mounted on the regulator, and whenever I fire up the car the fpg shows "0"? the fuel system has aftermarket rails and a return to the tank. I even returned a gauge thinking it didn't work. I was hoping to get the tune dialed in this fri. but I need to know the fp to get the injectors set. btw the injectors are ev1 80# siem deka from lashway. any help or advice would be cool. the voltage at the pump is good as well

you actually have to turn the screw on the regulator to up the pressure.

If the system has enuf psi to run the engine, then the gauge should show some value. [Unless the psi is lower than the minimum gauge reading. I doubt both gauges are fubar]
How do you have the system plumbed?
As Hemi mentioned.... Have you tried adjusting the reg?

I figured it out. the fuel feed line has a t-block with one line returning to tank. that line must have been for the excess or like a factory return. I capped it and saw all sorts off pressure. thx

Yes, I understood that much. but there was no indication of pressure with the car idling. It had to have something there. Since I still had the t block near the filter in the back the pressure was returning to the tank from there. thx though

stock feed line goes to front of car where i changed over to -6 to one rail then crossover -6 to the other. finally to the fpr, then to the old evap line for the return. I did eliminate the canister for this mod. I hope the evap line does the job for the return for what my goals of 575whp are
