Default 5.3 questions need answers

I want to build a 5.3 truck motor well because they are cheap and easy to get I'm set on the 5.3 and I don't really want to hear about the 6L. Just being honest
So that said this is what I want to do:
5.3
Ls6 intake
Ls6 heads (port and polish port match intake?)
I'm not sure on the cam but I've heard a lot about Texas Speed making good cams . Opinions?
What size injectors?
Fuel rails?
What kind of power will I make ported vs stock heads
Would I be better off to buy a set of Cnc ported heads
I'm new to the Ls side of gm performance

On another note I recently got rid of a car with a 412 small block pushing about 500 to the crank can I expect that much out of this setup or will I need to go another route to get to my power goal
Any advice or opinions is wanted
Thanks

Texas speed or pat g cam. Can't go wrong with either. I would call Texas spped and tell them your goals and set up, and they will point you in the rite direction.
