Default ls7 intake and throttle body size

So to shorten this up for only this question. I have a modified 454ls7x and an aps extreme tt kit. I cant find a reasonably priced sheet metal intake and im seeing the polymer unported ls7 factory intakes taking 20lbs of boost, does throttle body size matter at that point? The outlet of the intercooler is 100mm so i was gonna get a bigmouth 102 for the stock intake but will that actually flow noticably different than a stock throttle body in this case?

You might want to see if it can even be done. The ls7 intake opening is 90mm and has an o-ring seal. I'm not sure that there is enough room for the 102mm throttle body to seal. I have not checked the measurements myself so I don't know if it will work or not. On the other side I'm running the stock ls7 intake and throttle body on my F2 pro charged vette putting out 27#

do you think i'd see any notable difference between a stock ls7 and tb vs a fast 102 intake and tb for tripple the price?

Not with a boost set up.....stay LS7.

I'm shooting for 1,000 RWHP with a stock 1998 TB (78mm) and ported LS6 intake......

My friend is at 800 RWHP with it.....and he's using a 76mm turbo. I'm going 88 or 91.

i'm running a 454ls7x i'm changing out the rotating assembly and cam, trying to pick a cam now. and i'm running an aps extreme kit, they're two 70mm turbo's. i figured once you start cramming air down into the intake it wouldn't make a big difference but this is my first time doing a big build like this so i figured i'd get some input from people that have been there before. also if i get a surge and blow the intake apart i'd rather be able to get a 100$ factory intake instead of a 1000$ aftermarket, lol.
