Congrats to "Coach" Tim Ray
After a year long battle at 2 tracks racing on average 3 weekends a month, Coach won a track championship at Pine Valley and runner upped at Royal Purple Raceway. He had 9 wins and numerous runner ups. Then at the end of the year, three weeks ago, he had surgery AND had cylinder head issues requiring the removal of the engine twice in between races. After all this Coach went to Crandall for the IHRA division race and made it to the final. He runner upped, which made him eligible for the IHRA World Finals. The next weekend he went to the NHRA division finals in Ennis, Tx. He went a couple of rounds, but then had an accident where a trailer fell on his leg, tearing his quad. He still went the next Wed. to Memphis for the IHRA World Finals. Unfortunately, in the first round he couldn't hold the car on the line due to his torn muscle and went red.
No matter what, Coach showed his dedication and driving prowess throughout the year and showed that Madman & Co. Racing chassis parts can put you in the winners circle. Our congratulations to Coach for a killer year - he'll be back next year and we'll be right there with him.

Awesome job Coach!!!! You spanked some butt all year and made it to the World Finals. How many people can say they have done that. I was afriad your injury was gonna cause you some problems especially since you load the converter hard when you stage. You did a great job man!
