4000rpm hesitation
So it seems like everytime I hit 4000rpm I feel a slight hesitation. Almost like a miss im not sure. It feels like im losing power for a split second once I hit 4000rpm. Once it hits 4000 alittle hickup then would continue fine above the RPM range then once at 5000-5200 same thing. Any Ideas? Brand new Opti, Water pump seals, Oil pan gaskets brand new have been on the car for a month now.

What brand opti is it? could have been bad from the factory.
Check the basics, plug wires, plugs, vacuum lines. Make sure all of the wires have a good connection to the plugs.
Maybe a bad injector, but not likely. Check for 12v to the injector connections.

The Opti is an AC-Delco, Brand new delco wires, all vacuum lines seem to be fine. Brand new interstate battery. Ill test the injectors but I use Lucas oil fuel treatment every oil change. If it isnt the injectors what else possibly could it be? Thanks

What are your plugs gapped at? Are all the plugs tight in the head? Got a good heat sink on the ICM? All the plug wires seated correctly on the plugs? How's the coil? How old is the fuel filter? Whats fuel pressure under a load?
