Default First time at track was a success!!!

Hey guys,

Here's a link to my first track run with the new setup.
Start watching at 14:35 to see my first run against the Vette
First run was with spray against a C6 Vette which I just barely won and second run was on motor.
Results = 13.33 @ 99mph on motor / 13.22 @ 105mph with spray...?
With better launch should have been a mid-high 12 second pass with spray but this was my first time at the track ever so next time I'm shooting for a lower ET but I'm happy with the results. BTW I drove the car there with the slicks in the trunk and drove her home. Can't do that with many cars like ours. Enjoy.

To be honest the guy who tuned my car told me it was a 150 shot but when I took the jets out to change them I have no clue what they were set for but I think they were set for a 100 shot, but I could be wrong. They didn't feel like a 100 shot so maybe it was a 75 shot, but like I said I'm not 100% sure. I have the 150 shot jets in right now so next time I go to the track I'm going to run those but I'm getting a new nos solenoid/purge and a new bottle valve and I'm going to do some more engine work before I head back. Looking to do headers/cam before I head back but I'm happy with the results so far. All I had done was intake/exhaust/tune/spray/rebuilt tranny so those are fine with me as a " baseline" run for my daily driver.

no way you should trap that low with a 100 shot, do you have a wideband or gauges to monitor anything , something seems up .

All I have is a pressure gauge on my a-pillar but the guy who installed my kit 4 years ago is MIA...so I brought it to another shop when I was having problems spraying and he said that the guy who installed it had no clue as to what he was doing. With that being said I'm going to spend some time/ money and get this kit working properly with other mods and bring it back to the track and see what I can really run. My best trap speed with the spray was 107 but I only ran a 13.3, so I agree something is not working properly somewhere. I work a hectic schedule so when I have the time to get all of these things working to their potential I shall keep you guys posted. Plus this is my daily driver so I need to make sure I don't do something detrimental that will put me in a money hole.

Nice times man....... A LS6 intake swap plus NOS would be nice on your Impala.

A 100 shot on a stock LS4 should net 108-109mph, so you are close!
